SMALL GROUPS

WHAT IS A SMALL GROUP

At Good News Church we believe the best way to promote spiritual growth, provide pastoral care, and pursue lasting life change is by joining a small group. A small group is an essential gathering of disciples for disciple-making, gospel transformation, and member care. Groups meet in homes throughout the week, study God’s Word, pray for one another, and often share a meal. But there is more! Life’s victories are celebrated together as well as support when going through trials. There are hospital visits to fellowship dinners and everything in-between—all in Biblical community.

Biblical Community

Good News believes in Biblical Community. We need God’s people, community, and we need God’s Word, the Bible, thus we need Biblical community.

We believe disciple-making is a team effort. Our primary vehicle for making disciples together is small groups. Small groups are available for adults, students, and children.

Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.
